- I don't think it's that bad. I have a courier v.34+ modem. You really
- must have excellent phone lines to even get 28.8. Really 33.6Kbps is a
- nice hook to sale modems, but unless you are in the same room it will
- be tough to get this speed. Really at this point ISDN is the only way
- to go for more bandwidth. With that said I didn't buy a Zyxel ISDN
- modem because I don't have ISDN.

- The question is how many users are really getting 33.6Kbps
- connections? Can you really tell a difference in a 33.6Kbps
- connection vs. a 28.8Kbps connection? Like a pentium 90 vs. a pentium
- 100. No big deal.
